What Stocks Were Saxo Clients Buying and Selling Last Week?

The most bought and sold stocks and ETFs last week.

Clients were buying into US tech names with chipmakers, crypto and quantum computing among the themes that attracted the most attention.

Nvidia and Micron were the most actively traded by clients and saw strong bid with 61% and 59% net buys respectively. 

Intel took the third most traded spot as the stock plunged 17%, giving back some of its 176% YTD. Trades were split evenly 50/50 between buys and sells.

Further down we saw the likes of IonQ (67% buys), MARA (78% buys) and Strategy (72% buys) prove that quantum computing and cryptocurrency stocks remain in focus.

Strong buying interest in RocketLab and AST SpaceMobile underscored the huge investor interest in the growing space tech economy ahead of the expected SpaceX IPO.

Among UK shares Lloyds, Rolls-Royce and BAE Systems were the most actively traded names.

In the ETF space the VanEck Semiconductors UCITS ETF attracted 81% and was the most actively bought fund, while the iShares MSCI Global Semiconductors UCITS ETF attracted 91% net buys to be the most popular stock or fund last week among our most actively traded securities.
