Today the US Retail Sales are likely to be the key event at -0.2% monthly, the EU GDP would only be a significant market mover on a strong surprise, progress in the US Debt ceiling and infrastructure plan would also be of importance, Walmart reports before the bell. Retail sales are a good indication on the breadth of the recovery in the US and a good number would strengthen the case for early tapering.
