If you want to qualify for a higher account tier (lower prices and better service), you can do so with a minimum funding of a certain value.

It is quick and easy to open an account—just have the below documents ready and sign up online.

Your national ID number from the country where you hold citizenship.
Your tax ID number from your country of residence.
A document as proof of identity (e.g., a passport, ID card, driver’s licence) and a selfie.
A document as proof of residence (one that shows your home address, such as a residence permit, utility bill, or bank statement).

Yes, you can transfer your stock portfolio to Saxo from an external bank or broker. To request a stock transfer, go to Settings > Deposit and transfer > Security Transfer and follow the steps required to complete the transfer. Please be aware that it is only possible to transfer stocks that are registered in the name of the Saxo account holder. Note: An external bank or broker might ask you to place a similar request with them in order to accept a stock transfer request from Saxo.
