Creating a win-win environment

  • At Saxo, our conviction is that every great relationship is based on win-win. Whether with clients, partners, shareholders or employees, we only win when they win. We never compromise long-term progress for short-term success, which is why creating great teams, a strong culture and a strong work environment is important to us.

  • Saxonians share the same values. Our desire to win together gives the organisation energy. By being honest and independent, we build mutual trust and respect. Our healthy curiosity helps us think outside the box. In our headquarters, for example, we have one of the largest private contemporary art collections in northern Europe. We are extremely productive and ambitious, because we take pride in the client experience we deliver. For more on our story, culture and identity, learn more about Saxo.

FAQs

At Saxo, we always aim for ‘win-win’ solutions. Our recruitment process is designed to give you as much knowledge and experience about working at Saxo as possible, so you can see if it’s right for you – as well as giving us information about your suitability for the role.

Pressing the ‘apply’ button under a vacancy will take you to some simple steps. These give us the initial information we need about you and your application. We will also ask you to agree to our privacy policy.
Review and initial interview: If there’s a match between the information you’ve provided and what we’re looking for, the first step will typically be a phone interview.

In-person interviews and assessments: The next stage is a more in-depth (technical) interview at one of our offices (if possible). If this is successful, we will invite you to take our online personality and cognitive assessments. For some roles, we may also ask you to complete some job-related assessments. You will always receive feedback on your test results.

After the assessments, you will generally be invited for one or more additional interviews with different participants, who could be the hiring manager, an HR manager, a potential colleague or another stakeholder within Saxo Bank (depending on the role).

The final decision: If we think you are the right person for the role, we will contact you and offer you the position. If we have interviewed you but not put you forward to the offer stage, we will call to give you feedback on our decision. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and give us feedback on the recruitment process.
Get thinking about how your previous work experience and personal attributes have prepared you for the Saxo role you are applying for. Having some examples of your strengths and weaknesses helps us understand how you work. Make sure you have read the job description carefully and come prepared with any questions you may have about the position, the company and your role within it.

Employees at Saxo work closely with their managers to set work practices that work well for the individual and the organisation.

Covid-19 has changed many things, but not in general our core belief that face-to-face contact with colleagues builds trust and teamwork and creates an energised and inspiring workplace.

In some cases, we may be able to offer a more flexible schedule. If this is important to you, please mention it in your application.
Saxo may be able to sponsor visas for some candidates, depending on the nature of the role and the qualifications of the candidate. Please apply for the role you are interested in, and the hiring team will let you know how to proceed.
Please apply for the role you are interested in as normal. If the hiring team gets in touch about your application, please let them know about your relocation requirements. If relocation is not possible for this role, the hiring team may be able to direct you to another similar role.
