About Clare MacCarthy

Clare MacCarthy first joined Saxo Bank in 2012 to work as a senior editor on TradingFloor.com. Prior to this, she worked as a Denmark-based foreign correspondent for The Economist and the Financial Times and also served as Copenhagen bureau chief for Dow Jones Newswires.

A native of Ireland, MacCarthy has written widely on politics and finance for outlets including the Economics Intelligence Unit, Chatham House and the Irish Times. Clare has also co-authored a book on Danish industry and has edited several others. A graduate of University College Cork, she has also studied at Dublin City University and the University of Copenhagen.
