Custody fees for stocks, ETFs/ETCs, and bonds

For accounts with stock, ETF/ETC, or bond positions, an annual custody fee* applies, as shown below. The custody fee will be calculated daily using the end of day values and charged on a monthly basis.

Please note that the fee can take your account’s cash balance into a negative that will be subject to the negative net free equity interest charge (please see Interest Rates clause).
To check the custody fee for your account, please log in to the platform, select a stock, ETF, or bond, and click on the info button (i) to open the Trading Conditions window. You can find the custody fee under the Trading rates tab.

For transfers of Stocks to an account outside Saxo an exit fee will be charged. The fee is as follows:

  • 50 EUR per ISIN (max. 160 EUR)

Taxes and fees may also occur on other corporate action other than cash dividends such as fee on a stock dividend or tax on a merger. When such taxes and fees occur Saxo will debit the client’s account accordingly.
