The most bought and sold stocks and ETFs last week.

One mega IPO was (nearly) the only show in town last week: a record-breaking stock market listing for SpaceX stole the limelight and propelled the stock to the top of our rankings for last week. Hopes of an US-Iran peace accord did the rounds and tech stocks recovered some recently lost ground.

SpaceX debuted on Friday and despite being available for just a single day’s trade it quickly became easily the most traded stock of the week among UK clients, reflecting huge investor enthusiasm for the rockets & satellite to AI company.

Sticking with the space theme the VanEck Space Innovators UCITS ETF (JEDI) saw strong client interest with 94% net buys.

And while there had been a wobble in the AI trade we saw clients net buyers of names like Nvidia, Microsoft, Marvell Technology and Micron.

UK stocks were conspicuous by their absence - EasyJet managed to squeak into the top 25 most traded stocks last week but was the only in the top 30 and only made it there because investors were rushing to their nearest exit - just 9% of EZJ trades were buys last week despite the decent run-up for shares this month.

Here’s a list of our top 10 most traded stocks and ETFs of the last week with the percentage of buys.
