Investing in an inflationary environment
Inflation is often associated with emerging economies or catastrophic events. Not entirely surprising, given the last time the UK had significant inflation was during the 1970-80s.
However when as much liquidity is pumped into the global economy as we see now, there are two natural results: asset bubbles, and inflationary pressure.
We’re all more familiar with asset bubbles, such as the DotCom and U.S. real estate bubbles. But with inflation on the rise now is the time to remind ourselves how it can impact us, and how to prepare.
Join Saxo’s world-renowned Chief Economist Steen Jakobsen, and CEO of Saxo Markets UK, Charles White-Thomson, for this lunchtime webinar. They will reveal why inflation is on the rise across major economies, what an inflationary environment means for markets, and how to combat inflationary pressure on your investments.
The webinar will end with a Q&A session for a rare opportunity to put questions to Steen and Charlie.
