Press Release

Saxo delivers strongest first-half year financial results in its history and continues growth across key commercial metrics

In the first six months of 2026, the Saxo Bank Group generated a net profit of EUR 87 million, representing an increase of more than 18% from EUR 73 million in the corresponding period last year. This marks the best half year financial results in the group’s history.

These half-year financial results reflect the group’s strong commercial momentum and successful execution of its strategic priorities. In 2026, trading activity remained robust, supported by positive sentiment in record‑seeking equity markets and heightened volatility in commodities such as oil and precious metals. The global economic landscape continued to be characterised by geopolitical tensions and elevated macroeconomic uncertainty.

In the first six months of 2026, Saxo remained focused on growing and engaging its global partner and client base, strengthening its position, and investing in its platforms and products to support long-term profitable growth. In the period ahead, this will be underpinned by additional marketing investments, ongoing enhancements to the group’s client offering, and continued investments in AI and business-critical areas.

H1 2026 key financial figures (H1 2025):
  • Total income: EUR 375 million (EUR 335 million)
  • Net profit: EUR 87 million (EUR 73 million)
  • Total client assets: EUR 153 billion (EUR 118 billion)
  • Total number of clients: 1.7 million clients (1.4 million clients)
Commenting on the results, Daniel Belfer, CEO of Saxo Bank, said:

“I am very proud to present the best half-year financial results in the group’s history. The global investment culture remains strong, and it is encouraging to see so many new clients choosing Saxo to start their investment journey. At the same time, we continue to deepen our relationships with existing clients and partners, who are entrusting us with a growing share of their investments. We have seen solid growth in our client base, and I am both optimistic and confident that this positive development will continue.”
