Equities were calm yesterday without key news, the Dow was down 0.25%, the S&P 500 unchanged, the Nasdaq up 0.3%
Nvidia hit an intraday All time high!
Tesla lost 4% as European sales fell again while there were reported issues with the Robo Taxi in Austin, they entered wrong lanes and dropped passengers off in the middle of roads among other issues.
The Wall Street Journal said talks between BP and Sell about a takeover are taking place, shell is denying that talks are taking pace
After Powells testimony there is now a 25% chance of a rate cut in July.
The Fed is investigating if and how to relax capital requirements so the big banks can be more active in the government debt market. , essentially QE. The SEC and exchanges are considering ease regulation.
While 10 year yields remain little changed, the USD Index fell further and is now 97.50, EURUSD tested a break above 1.17 in the night.
