Saxo welcomes Charu Chanana, Market Strategist in Singapore, bolstering market insights and coverage for clients in Asia Pacific

Saxo Markets, a leading Fintech specialist that connects people to investment opportunities in global capital markets, has welcomed Charu Chanana, Market Strategist, based in Singapore. She is part of a team of three market strategists based in Asia Pacific across Singapore, Saxo’s regional headquarters, Australia and Hong Kong.

They join Saxo’s well-established Strategist Team, helmed by Saxo Group’s Chief Economist and Chief Investment Officer, Steen Jakobsen and they also report locally into the CEOs of each market.

  • Based in Singapore, Charu Chanana will focus on delivering thematic based investment strategies for Saxo clients globally. Her key focus areas will be macro themes, forex, commodities and equities across Southeast Asia, Japan, India and the U.S. Charu has over 10 years of experience in the financial markets, having served most recently as the Lead Asia Economist at Continuum Economics, where her purview included macroeconomic analysis for emerging Asian countries with a key focus on India and Southeast Asia.
