New marketing portal & global roll out of SaxoPartnerConnect
We are proud to announce that we will go live with a new marketing portal within SaxoPartnerConnect during the second half of April 2023. This means all partner employees will receive access to the new platform and marketing portal. The existing marketing portal will be decommissioned. The new marketing portal will consist of both new content as well as relevant content from the existing portal.
SaxoPartnerConnect is the new flagship platform for all of Saxo’s partners and it has been developed since 2020. The platform is primarily envisioned as a platform that can serve all types of partners and is optimised for handling a client base with client screeners as well as bulk modules for handling blockorders, corporate actions, case management and reporting.
SaxoPartnerConnect will gradually start replacing WebConnect, which means we will slowly remove WebConnect access from partners. This change will take place when SaxoPartnerConnect supports all the relevant functionalities that WebConnect currently supports.
Employees who currently have access to SaxoPartnerConnect
Nothing will change for your employee users; just be aware that after mid-April, all your employees will have access to the new marketing portal within SaxoPartnerConnect.
Employees without access to SaxoPartnerConnect
All users/employees will soon receive access to SaxoPartnerConnect (www.connect.saxo).
The new platform requires users to have assigned roles or permissions to access specific functionality. All access is governed by the user’s role assignment, so if an employee user does not have a role within SaxoPartnerConnect, access will be refused.
Different role types
We have assigned one of two base roles to all partner employee users:
- Authorised Dealer: for users that currently have access to the SaxoTraderGO or SaxoTraderPRO platforms. (They can trade on behalf of end-clients.)
- Read Only: for users that currently have access to the WebConnect or monitor platforms. (This is a read- or view-only role.)
Both base roles will allow users to use the new platform including access the marketing portal, but to fully benefit from SaxoPartnerConnect, we recommend that you assign additional “plus roles” to the base role types in order to access additional functionalities. For more information, please read the section “Adding plus roles for SaxoPartnerConnect” on page 13 of the Access administrator's user guide (see screenshot).
Important additional information
- We will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, 13 April 2023, at 9:30 CET (15:30 SGT) where we will demo SaxoPartnerConnect and answer any pending questions regarding access and different roles. You do not need to sign up, but we recommend that you save the date in your calendar with the following information:

- If you have employee users that should have access to the marketing portal but should not have access to end-clients, please reach out to your account manager and we will enable you to set up employee users with “Partner portal only” access in SaxoTools.
