  • Dr Charles Su

    Managing Director, Global Market Research, CIB Research

    Dr. Charles Su serves as the managing director of global market research at CIB (China Industrial Bank) Research since Jan 2017. Prior to joining CIB Research, Dr. Su served as the MD and chief China economist of CEBM Group. He also served as chief macro analyst at SWS Research and GF Securities. Dr. Su's macro research team at SWS Research ranked third in the 2010 and 2011 New Fortune Analyst Ranking Polls. Dr. Su obtained his Ph.D. in systems engineering from Boston University in 2004.
  • Tor Svelland

    Founder and Chief Investment Officer, Svelland Capital

    Founder and CIO of Svelland Capital, Tor A. Svelland has 25 years of extensive experience within commodity, equity, freight derivates and physical trading. From 2014 to 2016 he was the desk manager of the dry cargo freight desk, at Trafigura in Geneva, where he was responsible for all physical, derivates and commodity/shipping related equity trading. From 2010 to 2014, Tor was the executive director of the oil desk at Goldman Sachs Ltd in London, responsible for the global freight book. Between 2005 and 2010, Tor was head of commodities and head of freight derivatives at Carnegie and Pareto in Oslo.
  • Natalie Shaw

    APAC Product Manager, Global Markets, BNP Paribas

    Natalie Shaw is the APAC Product Manager for BNP Paribas Global Markets in EMEA; Relocating to the UK last year as BNP Paribas’s Asian expert she has most recently focused on helping clients navigate the liberalisation of the Chinese bond and equity markets. Natalie was previously Head of Equity Advisory for BNP Paribas in APAC, spending the last 18 years in Hong Kong following postings in Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, and Jakarta.
  • Steen Jakobsen

    CIO and Chief Economist, Saxo Bank

    Steen Jakobsen first joined Saxo Bank in 2000 and has served as both chief economist and chief investment officer since 2009. He focuses on delivering asset allocation strategies and analysis of the overall macroeconomic and political landscape as defined by fundamentals, market sentiment and technical developments in the charts.
