Partner Product Update

New marketing portal & global roll out of SaxoPartnerConnect

We are proud to announce that we will go live with a new marketing portal within SaxoPartnerConnect during the second half of April 2023. This means all partner employees will receive access to the new platform and marketing portal. The existing marketing portal will be decommissioned, and the new marketing portal will consist of both new content as well as relevant content from the existing portal.

SaxoPartnerConnect is the new flagship platform for all of Saxo’s partners and it has been developed since 2020. The platform is primarily envisioned as a platform that can serve all types of partners and is optimised for handling a client base with client screeners as well as bulk modules for handling blockorders, corporate actions, case management, reporting and in the future also onboarding and renewals

SaxoPartnerConnect will gradually start replacing WebConnect, which means we will slowly remove WebConnect access from partners. This change will take place when SaxoPartnerConnect supports all relevant functionalities that WebConnect currently supports.

Employees who currently have access to SaxoPartnerConnect

Nothing will change for your employee users; just be aware that after mid-April, they will also have access to the marketing portal within SaxoPartnerConnect.

Employees without access to SaxoPartnerConnect

All employee users will soon receive access to SaxoPartnerConnect and will be able to login with their current login and password. Users with trading access via SaxoTraderGO or SaxoTraderPRO will be able to trade on behalf of end-clients in SaxoPartnerConnect whereas users with viewing only access via e.g. Webconnect, or the Monitor platform, will have viewing only access.

Many SaxoPartnerConnect features require additional roles that only the IB can assign to individual employee users and starting off, they will not have access to these features.

You will soon receive further details on the new user administration tool and the different role types and their functionalities. This new setup will replace the current user administration process based on authorized dealers and back-office login lists

You will also receive an invite to a webinar where we will demo SaxoPartnerConnect and answer any pending questions – especially regarding the user administration tool.

Important additional information

If you have employee users that should have access to the marketing portal but should not have access to end-clients, you have two options:

  1. Wait for the user administration tool to become available, then change your employee users’ access.
  2. Disable the users now by submitting an ADL/BOL without those users included, then when you get access to the user administration tool, set up users with access to the marketing portal only.
